Ghirardelli Chocolate Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail and Restaurant Associate at Ghirardelli Chocolate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing cash handling and credit card processing procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

• Provide exceptional guest service and create a welcoming atmosphere for customers
• Manage cash handling and credit card processing procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and employee facilities
• Assist with inventory management, including stocking merchandise and maintaining adequate supply levels
• Participate in candy making and fountain duties, including preparing proprietary retail items and maintaining fountain equipment
• Develop knowledge of all products, pricing, and company history to effectively answer guest inquiries and create up-sell opportunities

• High energy and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work all shifts, including nights and weekends
• Previous retail experience is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
