About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Compassionate Care Hospice, an Amedisys Company. As a Full-time On-Call Hospice RN, you will provide patient-centered care to individuals in need of hospice services.

Responsibilities
  • Perform initial nursing assessments on new admissions
  • Develop and maintain individualized patient care progress records
  • Communicate patient progress to the clinical manager, physician, and care team
  • Provide education to families on patient condition, needs, and care
  • Make referrals to other hospice care disciplines as needed
Qualifications
  • Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work
  • One+ year of nursing experience required
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance
