THE OPPORTUNITY AT HAND

We are in search of a meticulous and dedicated Financial Operations Manager to supervise and contribute to the company's accounting processes and systems. The Financial Operations Manager will report directly to the Controller and will uphold a high standard of integrity and professionalism.

OUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOU

  • Supervise and provide insights on the company's accounting operations and systems.
  • Review and authorize journal entries.
  • Assist in managing the month-end closing procedures.
  • Lead the revenue recognition initiatives, including net revenue assessments and monthly accounts receivable evaluations.
  • Prepare intricate analyses, including physician compensation.
  • Support the annual budgeting process in collaboration with company leadership.
  • Guide, develop, and mentor a team of accounting professionals.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of New York.
  • Comprehensive understanding of GAAP and other pertinent accounting standards.
  • Over 5 years of experience in public accounting and/or a combination of healthcare accounting.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain a high level of organization with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to timely and responsive communication with team members.
  • Professional demeanor and conduct, demonstrating sound judgment and representing the company with integrity.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct or NetSuite (implementation experience is a plus).
  • Experience in public accounting.
  • Exposure to Private Equity.
