About the Role

Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced AWS Solutions Architect to join our team on a 12-month contract position. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive hourly rate of $70-$73/hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accelerate the migration of applications and workloads to AWS, leveraging expertise in cloud engineering and architecture.
  • Collaborate with a team of digital solution architects and centers of practice/excellence to design and implement cloud-based solutions.
  • Develop technical designs for cloud, web, mobile, AI, API, SaaS, and COTS products, working closely with enterprise architecture, application product teams, and infrastructure teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance during the development, testing, and delivery phases of cloud-based projects.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Engineering and/or Architecture.
  • Proven expertise in cloud migrations using AWS technologies such as Terraform, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Athena, EC2, EKS, and EMR.
  • Strong background in architecting complex big data and AI/ML analytics product migrations to the cloud (AWS).
  • Experience managing multiple projects and advising teams on cloud migration projects.
  • Expertise in multiple SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall.
