At Cognizant North America, we are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Architect with migration expertise to lead the design and implementation of cloud architectures using AWS services to meet business requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing the migration of on-premises applications to the AWS cloud using AWS Server Migration Service and AWS MigrationHub. Additionally, they will provide technical guidance and support for AWS ECS and AWS EKS to ensure efficient container management.

The successful candidate will also implement AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices to optimize cloud infrastructure, manage data migration processes using AWS DataSync and AWS DMS to ensure seamless data transfer, and configure and maintain AWS Storage Gateway to enable hybrid cloud storage solutions.

As a key member of our team, the AWS Cloud Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy scalable cloud solutions, conduct regular performance tuning and optimization of cloud resources to ensure cost-efficiency, and develop and maintain documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and procedures.

The ideal candidate will also ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in cloud environments, provide training and mentorship to junior team members on AWS technologies and best practices, and monitor cloud infrastructure and proactively address potential issues to maintain high availability.
