Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Legal Support Associate Trainee. This role will involve providing assistance across various departments, gaining experience while supporting attorneys and case staff in a rotational capacity. This position is designed to prepare you for a highly coveted role as a Case Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate contact with clients post-signing to gather essential information for file creation.
  • Handle incoming calls and make outbound calls to clients as necessary.
  • Coordinate with the coverage team for follow-up inquiries.
  • Facilitate the transfer of cases to Case Managers once files are established.
  • Create new client files and input relevant data into case management systems.
  • Document all interactions and updates in the system.
  • Request necessary police reports and manage documentation for client files.
  • Send HIPAA forms to clients and ensure welcome packets are distributed appropriately.
  • Collect and upload required documents from clients to their respective files.

Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; college education is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients.
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Proficient in multitasking and quick learning.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Dependable and reliable.
  • Strong comprehension and analytical skills.
  • Typing speed of at least 35 WPM with proficient writing skills while navigating various software applications.
