Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at St. Anthony Summit Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a supportive and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with the healthcare team and patients/families to identify and meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Promote optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients through the use of the nursing process and adherence to patient care standards and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement.
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs.
  • One year RN experience.
  • BLS required.
  • ACLS required.
  • NRP required within 6 months.
  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty.
  • Preferred C-EFM and STABLE.
  • RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
Work Environment

The Obstetrics/Post-Partum department at St. Anthony Summit Medical Center has eight beds, labor, delivery, post-partum, Level I nursery, and one OR, seeing about 35 deliveries a month. On a rare occasion, we treat GYN patients. Our mission is to provide compassionate care to all as we would a family member. We work in a team-oriented environment in the highest altitude birth center in North America.

Pay and Shift

Pay range: $35.17 - $61.23 / hour. Shift: Variable. Minimum 5 shifts in a 6-week schedule.
