United Health Services is in search of a Senior Nursing Supervisor to lead our nursing team within the BGH Internal Medicine department.
Role Responsibilities:The Senior Nursing Supervisor is tasked with safeguarding, enhancing, and maximizing health and capabilities, preventing illness and injury, and alleviating suffering through effective diagnosis and treatment of human responses. This role also emphasizes advocacy in the care of individuals and families.
The RN will ensure adherence to all practice standards and professional growth in line with the New York State Nurse Practice Act, United Health Services Hospitals and Nursing Division policies, ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the Bill of Patient Rights.
Key Qualifications:- Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare environment, demonstrating proficiency in key areas outlined in the Registered Nurse curriculum.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Prior experience in telephone triage.
- Experience in a walk-in, primary care, or specialty care office setting.
- Familiarity with Joint Commission, NYS Department of Health, CMS, and Article 28 standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Annual Health Assessment is required for RNs working in person at any UHS location.
