Hearing Instrument Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team at Oticon. As a key member of our hearing healthcare team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with hearing loss to improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care and aftercare services, including hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, and education on best practices.
- Perform routine checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local community leaders to promote Oticon's mission and values.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping of inventory and maintain a sustainable level of clinic supplies.
- Support Telehealth initiatives to expand patient care and product portfolio.
- Maintain an active Hearing Aid Dispensing License in accordance with state requirements.
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in selling hearing aids in an Audiology/dispensing practice.
- Maintain continuing education requirements based on state requirements.
- Ability to operate audiometric equipment and interpret results.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills to analyze patient situations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage and motivate patients and third parties.
- Skill in handling sensitive matters and patients with tact, courtesy, and discretion.
