Position Overview

Per Diem LNA/ MNA - Flexible Shifts Available

RiverWoods Exeter is in search of dedicated Per Diem LNA or MNA professionals to deliver essential resident care within a collaborative environment, prioritizing the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct care and assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting to promote health and independence.
  • Support mobility and functional nursing care as outlined in the nursing care plan, including transfers, ambulation, range of motion exercises, and positioning.
  • Establish professional relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and supervisors to foster open communication and mutual respect.
  • Assist with assessments and treatment procedures as per the State Nursing Practice Act and facility guidelines, including vital signs, weights, specimen collection, and skin care.
  • Adhere to Infection Control protocols, including Standard Precautions and safe handling of biohazardous materials.
  • Familiarize with and assist in care protocols for falls prevention, safety, behavior management, and nutritional needs.
  • Accept resident assignments and follow direction from the Nurse Leader, reporting any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff.
  • Understand and comply with facility protocols regarding Resident Rights, abuse reporting, HIPAA regulations, and emergency procedures.
  • Encourage and assist residents in engaging in social and recreational activities.
  • Accurately document the level of care provided, including LNA flow sheets and other required data as specified in individual Care Plans.

Qualifications:

Must possess an active NH LNA License.

Prior experience working with senior citizens is highly preferred.
