Powder Coating Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Powder Coating Assistant to join our team at Howell Laboratories Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up customer products, preparing parts for powder coating, and assisting in meeting production goals.

• Delivery and Pickup: Safely operate our 26' box truck to deliver and pick up customer products within a 1-hour radius of Bridgton, ME.
• Preparation for Powder Coating: Sand, sandblast, degrease, wash, mask, and plug parts to prepare them for powder coating.
• Part Preparation: Hang parts in preparation for powder coating.
• Meet Production Goals: Assist in meeting production goals and deadlines.
• Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Education: High School diploma or GED required.
• Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean history.
• Attention to Detail: Strong and consistent attention to detail is essential.
• Temperature Tolerance: Ability to tolerate high temperatures.
• Time Management: Excellent time management skills.
• Self-Motivation: Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task.
• Teamwork: Team-oriented with basic computer skills.
• PPE: Ability to wear PPE (respirators, PAPRs, sandblasting suit, etc.) for extended periods.
