HVAC Supervisor Opportunity

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a skilled HVAC Supervisor to oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems within our luxury resort. As a leader in the hospitality industry, we offer a unique blend of Texas hospitality and luxury amenities in a stunning lakefront setting.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance, training, and support
  • Plan and prioritize daily work assignments to ensure timely completion of maintenance, repairs, and installations
  • Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of HVAC technicians
  • Plan and prioritize daily work assignments
  • Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC system malfunctions
  • Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized repairs or installations
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for HVAC systems
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities
  • Collaborate with other departments to address guest requests and ensure minimal disruption to their comfort
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to HVAC systems
  • Monitor and manage HVAC-related expenses
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of HVAC technicians
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized HVAC training program is preferred
  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration
  • Familiarity with various HVAC tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Must have the physical strength, stamina, and agility to perform the assigned duties
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, squat, bend, and stretch for long periods of time
