**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Crisis Management Professional to join our team at the Ohio Department of Public Safety. As a key member of our emergency management agency, you will be responsible for formulating and implementing policies and procedures to establish and maintain situational awareness during emergencies.

**Responsibilities:**
As a Crisis Management Professional, you will:
- Formulate and implement policies and procedures to establish and maintain situational awareness during emergencies.
- Coordinate notification and response with local, state, and federal emergency management and homeland security officials.
- Collect and analyze disaster information from various resources to determine potential hazard levels.
- Develop and monitor informational databases, spreadsheets, and reports to assess the magnitude and scope of impact of an emergency or disaster.
- Prepare input for daily briefings, presentations, and reports pertaining to state emergency management agency operations.
**Requirements:**
- 36 months of experience conducting research and writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical, and/or statistical research techniques.
- Completion of an undergraduate core program in homeland security, political science, criminal justice, emergency management, public health, international affairs, or a related field.
