Clinical Operations Assistant

Job Summary:
The Clinical Operations Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This individual will be responsible for performing receptionist and billing responsibilities, coordinating patient information, and maintaining confidentiality of patient files. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform departmental clerical and receptionist functions timely and accurately
- Coordinate patient information and maintain confidentiality of patient files
- Assist with billing functions, including preparing and submitting claims
- File documents in a timely and organized manner
- Sort and distribute mail
- Maintain the filing system and ensure that needed forms are readily available

Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- Graduate of a two-year medical billing/coding program is strongly preferred
- Proficiency with electronic health record software is required
- Previous experience working in a psychiatric setting is preferred
