Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for assisting in the overall management of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Assist in planning, organizing, and controlling project coordination activities, including contract and subcontract negotiations.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure accurate and up-to-date job-specific records are maintained.
  • Subcontract Management: Work with the Project Manager to issue subcontracts and purchase orders, ensuring proper execution.
  • Change Order Management: Process and manage change orders, proposed change orders, submittals, RFI's, and transmittals.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project administration meets quality requirements.
  • Closeout Activities: Assist in managing closeout activities, including inspections, punch lists, permits, certificate of occupancy, and archiving project files.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum of an Associate's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction management.
