Position Summary: We are seeking an Intermediate Intelligence Operations Planner to enhance our operational capabilities. This role involves supporting critical missions utilizing established military planning methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical support for priority missions, employing the Army Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) and the Operations Process.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop actionable recommendations for the planning, preparation, and execution of operations.
- Collaborate with Operational Planning Teams (OPT) across various Army units and interagency partners to analyze and discuss strategic plans and operational support.
- Evaluate and recommend updates for Requests for Forces (RFFs), exercises, and long-term operational calendars.
- Assess special projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with operational continuity plans.
- Formulate strategies for managing and executing support for high-profile events and briefings.
- Deliver comprehensive analysis for systems integration aimed at modernizing operational forces.
- Produce detailed briefings and documentation, including Concepts of Operations (CONOPs), Operational Plans (OPLANs), and After Action Reports.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in division-level planning and 3 years in intelligence.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Proficiency in various Intelligence Community software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment, working both independently and collaboratively.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educational background is required.
Education: Completion of Army Command and General Staff College or equivalent program is essential.
