Skating Coach

We are seeking a skilled Skating Instructor to join our team at the City of Durango. As a Skating Instructor, you will be responsible for planning and leading recreational programs for children and adults, including skating activities.

• Plan and lead skating programs for children and adults
• Develop and implement lesson plans to ensure participant safety and engagement
• Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and staff
• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and engaging program experience

• Experience working with children and adults in a recreational setting
• Knowledge of skating techniques and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to participate in skating activities

This position requires working in an indoor and outdoor recreational facility, with irregular work hours. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances is essential.
