Skating Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Skating Coach to join our team at the City of Durango. As a Skating Coach, you will be responsible for planning and leading recreational programs for youth, including skating activities. • Plan and lead recreational skating programs for youth
• Develop and implement lesson plans to ensure a fun and engaging experience for participants
• Provide instruction and guidance to participants on skating techniques and safety
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of skating facilities
• Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and staff to ensure a positive experience
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on program developments and best practices

• Experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting
• Knowledge of skating techniques and safety protocols
• Ability to communicate effectively with participants, parents, and staff
• Physical ability to participate in skating activities and maintain a safe and healthy environment
