Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist patients with ambulation, exercises, and other activities of daily living
  • Deliver direct and indirect patient care in accordance with regulation, agency policies, and professional standards of care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in agency performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and customer service
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Nurse Aide Program
  • One year of experience as a nurse aide/assistant in a healthcare facility or as a home health aide in a home care/hospice agency
  • Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, and sound judgment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Nurse Aide Certification
  • Certification as Hospice/Palliative Care Nurse Aide
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
