We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Provider to join our team in the East Brunswick, NJ Area. As a Medical Provider at CVS Health, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care and make a meaningful impact in your community.
Job SummaryThe Medical Provider will be responsible for providing primary and family evidenced-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients. You will also perform administrative duties, such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
Responsibilities- Provide holistic, evidence-based care to patients, including education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices.
- Order and administer immunizations and injections, provide vaccine counseling and education, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote positive health outcomes.
- A minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
- Current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
- BLS certification, including CPR and AED training.
- Epic experience.
- Student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic.
