Job Title: Radio Frequency Systems Engineer

AST SpaceMobile is revolutionizing the way we connect to the internet from anywhere in the world. As a Radio Frequency Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing the RF systems for our satellite-based cellular broadband network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze RF communication systems, subsystems, and components, particularly RF transceivers and filters.
  • Manage major suppliers for RF systems and develop RF system test plans.
  • Work with testing teams to review test results, investigate non-conformances, and resolve issues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in RF systems with an undergraduate college degree or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with other engineers.
  • RF component and/or system level design experience with PCB.
  • RF equipment experience with VNA, noise figure, and P1dB measurement.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • RF architecture trade-off experience.
  • Link budget analysis and cascaded line up analysis.
  • RF block diagram proposal experience.
