Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review corporate, individual, and partnership tax returns in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Assist the Tax Manager in supervising a team of tax and finance professionals.
  • Compile quarterly and annual tax reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Maintain and update the company's tax database.
  • Collaborate with the Tax Manager to develop and implement tax strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for tax payments and returns.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to share relevant financial information.
  • Identify potential tax savings opportunities to enhance profitability.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Assist in liaising with internal and external auditors.
  • Support tax forecasting efforts for upper management.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a Senior Tax role or similar position.
  • Expertise in HNWI and Business tax returns.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax accounting, compliance, and various tax return types.
  • Proficiency in tax software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent client service skills, with a talent for building and maintaining client relationships.
