Bowhead is seeking a Manufacturing Control Coordinator to become a part of our dynamic team.

The Manufacturing Control Coordinator role involves gathering and documenting production metrics for industrial operations to analyze and report on production volumes, material usage, quality assurance, and various production elements through the use of spreadsheets and specialized software.


Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will undertake a variety of tasks, including:
  • Collecting and documenting production data from customer requests, work orders, product specifications, and individual employee output records, adhering to established recording protocols and utilizing diverse documentation techniques.
  • Generating production reports based on compiled data, ensuring adherence to prescribed formats, and maintaining organized files of relevant documents.
  • Creating detailed production sheets or work orders to serve as guides for production staff in the assembly or manufacturing processes.
  • Managing material inventory records and preparing requisitions for the procurement of necessary materials and supplies, while also visualizing production data through charts or graphs for reference by management and production teams.
  • Sorting and distributing work orders or materials, and calculating wages based on employee time records for payroll preparation.

Essential Duties:
The candidate will be responsible for:
  • Calculating the types and quantities of items produced, materials utilized, scrap rates, defect frequencies, and departmental production metrics using various computational tools.
  • Maintaining accurate forms and records.
  • Expediting orders and managing the inventory of assets, parts, and supplies.
  • Demonstrating a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and interacting with colleagues and clients in a professional manner.
  • Being motivated to undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

In accordance with federal guidelines, candidates may be required to demonstrate compliance with health protocols.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Candidates should possess a minimum of one to three years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Knowledge of military regulations, systems, and established procedures is essential.

Successful candidates must pass a background check to gain access to necessary facilities.

Experience in a military logistics environment is preferred.

Familiarity with expediting processes is advantageous.

To excel in this position, candidates should have general computer proficiency and advanced skills in software applications such as MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and Outlook). Knowledge of inventory management software is a plus.

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various levels of personnel are crucial.

Strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment are necessary for both independent and team-oriented work.
