As a Sales and Service Associate, you will be responsible for thoroughly assessing and grading donated items for sale in Goodwill of North Georgia retail locations.

Your role will involve processing goods efficiently to meet production targets in a dynamic environment while adhering to established operating procedures.


Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a guest-friendly atmosphere by welcoming every visitor and delivering exceptional service
- Maintain a professional, patient, and customer-first demeanor with guests
- Transition products to the retail sales floor with precision and urgency
- Implement and uphold visual merchandising strategies
- Recommend and upsell merchandise during transactions
- Accurately manage point-of-sale transactions with guests
- Identify and resolve issues promptly or seek management assistance
- Communicate effectively with management, colleagues, and guests
- Promote teamwork and cooperation among peers
- Consistently perform tasks according to training materials and guidelines
- Keep a tidy, organized work area and retail sales floor at all times
- Adhere to safety and security protocols, including reporting hazards and injuries to management
- Attend and complete all required training sessions and meetings
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements and Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Commitment to fostering a positive team culture focused on exceptional guest experiences
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong organizational skills and sound judgment
- Must be 18 years or older to operate certain equipment


Working Environment Conditions:

- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to work in various conditions, including heat, cold, and dust
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, including bending, reaching, grasping, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs with or without accommodation
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed
