Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team at The Laurels of Bedford. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests receive the highest quality nutrition and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Supply Management

Oversee the purchase of food and supplies within budget and maintain a sufficient stock to cover each meal.

Technical Guidance and Direction

Provide technical guidance and administrative direction over diet planning, menu formulation, preparation, and service of regular and therapeutic diets.

Meal Quality and Safety

Ensure meals are nutritious, palatable, and prepared in a timely and consistent manner while adhering to menus and diet orders.

Dietary Assessments

Conduct interviews with guests and family members, as necessary, to obtain diet history and provide timely and accurate completion of dietary portions of the clinical record.

Collaboration and Communication

Participate in regularly scheduled conferences, including department head meetings and interdisciplinary care plan meetings.

Requirements
  • Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Serve Safe certification.
  • One (1) to two (2) years management/supervisory experience preferred.
  • Or acceptable exemption required.
