Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global launches and news announcements for iOS and related Apple apps
  • Identify and manage issues in a dynamic environment and continuous news cycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including PR teams in the US and internationally
  • Engage third-party partners and build relationships with key influencers
  • Develop and implement effective media relations strategies
  • Manage and develop a team of professionals to support global communications efforts

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in public relations, either at a PR agency or within a corporate setting
  • Past leadership experience, managing and developing teams
  • Strong media relations skills, experience working with social influencers, and ability to effectively distill complex technologies into easily understood messaging
  • Demonstrated experience managing launches, successful momentum storytelling, and crisis communications
  • Proven leadership skills with an ability to manage teams and develop talent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Positive team-player attitude and a passion for consumer technology
  • Natural self-starter who demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities, can focus and execute, and has an eye for details
  • Effective collaborator who will work cross functionally across teams and geographies while demonstrating integrity at all times

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, verbal communications skills, and detailed project management skills

Compensation and Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $185,800 and $279,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
