Job Description

Position Overview

Industrial Inspection & Analysis, a prominent entity in the fire safety sector, is seeking dedicated Fire Safety Equipment Technicians for full-time roles. This position involves crucial responsibilities related to the testing of fire safety equipment. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided on-site. The starting pay for this role is $18.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

As a Fire Safety Equipment Technician, your duties will include:

  • Carefully removing all fire hoses from apparatus and storage areas
  • Conducting necessary inspections and tests
  • Reorganizing hoses to their designated locations

Qualifications

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background investigation
  • Dependable and hardworking nature

Work Environment

  • Standard workdays are Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays
  • Typical workweeks consist of 40+ hours, averaging around 50 hours
  • Some days may require 12+ hours of work; shifts conclude only when tasks are completed
  • Daily transportation will be provided to various job sites
  • Occasional out-of-state assignments may be required, with accommodations provided
  • Work boots are mandatory; uniforms will be supplied

Physical Demands

  • Regularly lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent walking and bending are required
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
