Key Responsibilities- Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve equipment issues
- Collaborate with engineering staff to establish and implement periodic equipment maintenance schedules
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians
- Participate in safety forums, emergency response teams, and station improvement teams
- High school degree or equivalent with 0+ years of related experience
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and individually
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be highly organized and a self-starter
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be a fast-learner
- Associate's degree or higher
The successful candidate will work in a wafer fabrication and clean room environment, requiring clean room gowning. The position involves exposure to moderate noise levels, stored energy hazards, and hazardous chemicals. The employee will be required to handle hazardous waste in accordance with safe work practices.
