Job Title: Escrow Officer

Lennar Title is seeking a highly skilled Escrow Officer to join our team. As an Escrow Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth processing and closing of escrow transactions.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process all documents associated with escrow transactions, including title reports and insurance policies.
  • Communicate and coordinate daily responsibilities with the Branch or Escrow Manager.
  • Obtain demands/releases to clear title and draw instructions and supporting documents for signing.
  • Audit and close files when all funds and documents are received.
  • Disburse funds and write escrow instructions consistent with the requirements of the parties and obtain their approval.
  • Estimate the amount of money required to close escrow and obtain buyers' and sellers' deposits.
  • Review commitment and/or preliminary title report to verify vesting and legal description.
  • Reconcile discrepancies between instructions and title report with title officer and/or principals.
  • Order beneficiary statements or demands, fire insurance, loan interest, rents, and other prorated items.
  • Direct and may participate in the preparation of settlement sheets.
  • Train, supervise, guide, and assign work to other associates in the office.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information and escrow transactions.
  • Understand and comply with escrow accounting procedures and Good Funds Law.
  • Solicit business in-person, development functions, or activities or virtually.
  • Prepare Account Servicing Setups, if applicable.
  • Know Rate Manual and quote accurate fees.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of Escrow Officer experience.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Notary license is required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
