The Mechanical Assembler 2nd Shift is a critical position at KEB America, Inc. responsible for assembling and subassembling various clutch, brake, and gearmotor product lines. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Set up sheets and read blueprints to ensure accurate assembly
- Pick hardware items and assemble parts to form subassemblies and final assemblies
- Operate machines, testers, and cranes to facilitate the assembly process
- Mount and position materials, install connectors, and perform various types of testing
- Assist other departments as needed and perform other duties assigned
- Basic computer skills and math skills (standard and metric)
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to follow work instructions accurately and do accurate work at a rapid pace
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbal)
- Ability to work well independently and with others, have attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
- Ability to proficiently read and write in English and follow all safety rules
The Mechanical Assembler 2nd Shift will work in a brightly lit, climate-controlled industrial setting with a standing majority of the shift. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical demands.
