Job Title: Water Operations Specialist

At Jacobs, we're committed to delivering exceptional results and making a positive impact. As a Water Operations Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Operations Management & Facilities Services (OMFS) projects and business across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise in water systems, including budget preparation and financial accountability.
  • Collaborate with operational delivery managers and clients to support various projects within the FTC portfolio.
  • Develop and implement operational budgets, guidelines, and training programs for new facilities.
  • Analyze process control procedures and recommend improvements.
  • Establish cooperative relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and clients.
  • Provide onsite supervisory technical and managerial functions in support of internal or external client projects.
  • Prepare budgets, reports, and scopes for CH2M HILL projects or pursuits.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures, Process Control Narratives, and O&M Manuals for our projects.
  • Provide leadership and support of key technical tools used in O&M Consulting services.
  • Maintain a safe environment and enforce safety standards.
  • Create and deliver presentations to internal and external clients on project findings.
Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in water/wastewater system facilities, including knowledge of technical aspects and budget preparation.
  • Knowledge of safety and quality processes.
  • Knowledge and experience with computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid U.S. State Driver License with no major infractions.
  • Valid U.S. passport or eligible to obtain within 6 months.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time, including internationally.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school education with post-education in technical or college-level courses.
  • International travel and work experience.
