Job Title: Systems Engineer I

Mesa Energy Systems, a subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc., is a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction and facilities services. We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer I to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate control software applications with competence.
  • Develop simple databases based on written sequences of operation.
  • Identify and read mechanical equipment on floor plans.
  • Commission projects with assistance from senior-level engineers.
  • Fill out commissioning documentation.
  • Identify mechanical equipment for drawings and in the field.
  • Understand simple electrical control circuits and controller I/O.
  • Coordinate work with Mesa electricians.
  • Understand and identify the contractual scope of work.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, with at least two years as an automation technician.
  • Working knowledge of at least one HVAC controls system.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to interface with customers and contractors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good computer skills and understanding of controls networking.
  • A valid driver's license.
