Research Scientist in Cancer Prevention and Control

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced research scientist to join our team at the University of Rochester Wilmot Cancer Institute. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research in cancer prevention and control, working with a dynamic team of scientists and clinicians.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative research studies to improve cancer prevention and control outcomes. This will involve collaborating with colleagues across various departments and schools, as well as securing extramural funding to support their research program.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement research studies to improve cancer prevention and control outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues across various departments and schools to advance research goals.
- Secure extramural funding to support research program.
Requirements:
- Ph.D., MD, DO, or equivalent doctoral degree.
- Proven track record of independent funding at the R01 equivalent level.
- Strong record of scholarly production with significant impact.
- Research experience in primary prevention and/or cancer control/care delivery supportive care.
