Position Overview

Atrium Health is recognized as a premier community-oriented academic healthcare system, dedicated to serving the populations of North Carolina and South Carolina. We are currently seeking Board Certified Internal Medicine Physicians to enhance our esteemed Internal Medicine team in Kannapolis, NC.

The Internal Medicine practice at Atrium Health Kannapolis is composed of a group of board-certified professionals committed to delivering exceptional adult primary care. Situated in a medically-focused and socially engaging environment, the practice is located on the NC Research Campus and emphasizes growth while providing a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the diverse needs of adult patients.

Key Features of the Role:

  • Established clinic with a strong reputation within the community
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (4.5 Day Work Week)
  • No evening or weekend shifts required
  • On-call rotation: 1 in 6
  • Collaborative team of 3 physicians, 2 Advanced Practice Providers, and a supportive staff including RNs and CMAs
  • Integrated PharmD program featuring clinical pharmacists and diabetes educators to assist patients in managing multiple health conditions

  • Proficient in working independently and adept at managing various aspects of electronic documentation throughout the patient care process
