We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing project plans and specifications to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Analysis: Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure that all aspects of a project are covered and that the estimates provided are precise and comprehensive.
  • Subcontractor and Supplier Management: Obtain and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers for labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Quantity Take-Offs: Prepare quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment from project plans.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze project requirements and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Bid Proposal Preparation: Prepare and present bid proposals, including detailed cost breakdowns.
  • Project Support: Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client discussions as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all estimates and related documentation for future reference.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods. Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, or similar). Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
