Job Summary

ATCS is seeking a senior-level Transportation Design Subject Matter Expert to facilitate the delivery of transportation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong project management and client experience as a trusted advisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the management and delivery of transportation projects on-time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.
  • Support business development duties for major project/contract pursuits when necessary.
  • Serve as QA/QC lead when necessary and continue the refinement of ATCS Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and ensure its application across all offices for all project deliverables and products.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Strong leadership skills and substantial experience as a Project Manager in the areas of traditional design-bid-build, alternative delivery, and P3 projects.
  • 25+ years of diversified technical experience in Transportation Design desired.
  • Virginia PE license required.
  • PE in additional ATCS markets preferred (Md, NC, SC, PA, etc.).
  • Existing relationships with clients, as well as other local engineering firms, with the ability to provide exceptional client interface and service delivery.
  • Strong communication and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Active in professional organizations, preferably having served on committees or held positions of responsibility.
  • DOT project delivery experience in Virginia and Maryland a huge plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

  • Competitive salary range of $155,500 to $233,500 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
