Position Title: Emergency Room Nurse

Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Nurse to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to patients in critical conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency nursing and be committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive medical treatment and personal care to patients experiencing emergencies.
  • Document patient observations, assessments, and any changes in their condition accurately.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer a full spectrum of nursing care to patients with diverse medical and psychological conditions.
  • Assist in the care of patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
  • Provide care for patients requiring special precautions, including isolation protocols.
  • Manage the insertion and maintenance of peripheral and central intravenous lines.
  • Ensure timely and precise documentation of patient care in accordance with facility policies.
  • Perform phlebotomy and bedside testing as required.
  • Participate in on-call duties as determined by the Nurse Manager.
  • Insert and troubleshoot urinary catheters as necessary.
  • Initiate patient education during discharge as directed by the physician.
  • Exhibit professionalism and excellent customer service in all interactions with patients and their families.
  • May be required to care for patients with COVID-19 or those under investigation for the virus.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in an emergency department or major trauma center.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred; a Master's Degree is highly regarded.
  • An unrestricted registered nurse license from any state in the United States is required.
  • Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) or Acute/Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) is preferred.
