Position Overview:

Hartung Glass Industries is in search of a proficient and certified electrician to enhance our operational team. The ideal candidate will take on the responsibility of installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across diverse environments.

This position necessitates a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, adept troubleshooting abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic workplace.

Work Schedule: Day shift from 6 AM to 2 PM

Certification Requirement:
Possession of an LME (Limited Maintenance Electrician) certificate is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:


Employ exceptional troubleshooting skills to identify and rectify issues associated with pneumatics, industrial electrical systems, control systems, and mechanical processes.


Execute routine and specialized maintenance on advanced, automated glass production machinery, which includes tempering furnaces, automated cutting systems, automated insulating equipment, and spacer forming and assembly machinery.

Conduct preventative maintenance on production and assembly equipment to guarantee optimal functionality and durability.

Core Competencies:

Apply sound electrical and mechanical principles in daily operations and problem-solving tasks.

Maintain precise documentation by logging work orders utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Promptly request machine components by completing and submitting purchase requisitions.

Qualifications:

Possession of an LME (Limited Maintenance Electrician) certificate is essential.
A two-year degree or equivalent experience in a maintenance-related discipline is preferred.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair with a strong mechanical aptitude.
Physical capability to perform manual labor tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching.
Ability to work safely, effectively, and efficiently within a collaborative environment.
