The Role:

As a BSA Compliance Analyst, you will be instrumental in ensuring the bank's compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Program and related regulations. Your role will encompass the investigation and assessment of alerts, along with executing various BSA compliance responsibilities as assigned by BSA Management.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and respond to suspicious activity alerts generated by the bank's BSA/AML transaction monitoring system, escalating alerts to cases for further investigation when necessary.
  • Review and address alerts arising from OFAC watchlist screenings and 314(a) information requests within the BSA/AML transaction monitoring framework.
  • Identify and analyze high-risk accounts to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of CIP/KYC documentation for precision.
  • Prepare essential reports including Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
  • Provide guidance to branch staff on BSA, AML, and OFAC-related issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in BSA/AML transaction monitoring is preferred.
  • Proficiency in transaction monitoring tools, investigative databases, and software applications for analyzing and identifying transactional patterns.
  • Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act regulations is essential.
  • Familiarity with Fiserv systems and CAMS certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with analytical writing capabilities.
The salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $115,000 annually. The final salary will be determined based on internal equity considerations and may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Additionally, a performance-based bonus and various incentives will be included in the compensation package, along with a comprehensive benefits package covering medical, dental, vision, 401k, and more.
