Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Behaven Kids. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and effective learning environment for children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Job Summary:

The Registered Behavior Technician will be responsible for implementing discrete trials to teach language, play social interaction, and self-help skills to children with autism. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement treatment plans, provide supervision and support to children, and maintain accurate records of progress.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement discrete trials to teach language, play social interaction, and self-help skills to children with autism.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with our team.
  • Provide supervision and support to children in a safe and structured learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of progress and communicate with parents, staff, and supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required.
  • Certified Registered Behavior Technician in good standing with the BACB preferred.
  • 3 years' experience in a preschool or daycare setting required.
  • Associate degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
  • Experience with children diagnosed with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred.
