Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Summit Interconnect is a leading manufacturer of printed circuit boards in North America. We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Laboratory Technician will provide support to the Quality and Process Departments by analyzing and monitoring processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform chemical analyses and calculations
  • Make chemical additions and notify wet process operators
  • Data entry into the Lab SPC software program
  • Utilize Atomic Absorption and CMI for surface finish thickness verification
  • Proper setup, use, cleaning, and shutdown of lab equipment
  • Updating and maintaining laboratory files and logs
  • Communication with personnel for product disposition
  • Lab inventory control
  • Provide chemical and performance data for process troubleshooting
  • Prioritize lab workload accordingly
  • SPC chart generation and incorporation of SPC Tools
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
Compensation and Benefits:

Summit Interconnect offers a variety of health and benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, HSA plans, hospital and accident plans, life insurance, PTO, and paid holidays. Benefits are effective 1st day of the month following 30 days of hire.

Pay Range for this position is $22.00 an hour based on experience.
