About the Role:
LCB Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med Tech to join our team at The Residence at Shelburne Bay. As a Med Tech, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including toileting, dressing, bathing, eating, and walking.
- Dispense unit dose medications, making required record entries and notifications to the nurse.
- Order and receive medications per state regulation and LCB policies and procedures.
- Monitor residents' needs, preferences, and health status, reporting any changes to the RN or designee.
- Assist residents with clothing and laundry needs, supervise or assist with activity programs, and escort residents to meals and activities as needed.
- Document services provided, including incidents, behaviors, and out-of-the-ordinary events.
- Conduct and facilitate programming, including therapeutic groups and individual interaction, that offer cognitive stimulation, socialization, physical activity, and spiritual connection.
