Residential Care Specialist

Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Support Staff to join our team at Chanlyut. As a key member of our Recovery & Re-entry Services department, you will play a vital role in supporting participants in their recovery journey within a residential treatment setting.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating skill development, serving as direct milieu support, and promoting overall safety in the milieu. They will also engage in highly interactive and supportive encounters with participants, utilizing trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and recovery-oriented approaches. Additionally, they will assist the program with technical and program needs, organizing and maintaining the facility, and transporting and supervising participants in the community.
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You must also have demonstrated experience conducting individual and group sessions, as well as working in a team environment and with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
