Position Overview:
As a vital member of our team, the Clinical Education Coordinator, RN plays a crucial role in the development and training of our nursing staff within the Continuing Care sector. This position is designed to enhance the onboarding experience for new hires and to provide ongoing educational support to existing employees.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with clinical leadership and interdisciplinary team members to deliver essential training sessions for both new and current staff.
2. Organize and facilitate both clinical and non-clinical components of orientation programs, ensuring they meet the educational needs of adult learners.
3. Assist department heads in creating and presenting instructional materials tailored to the staff's professional development.
4. Oversee the formulation and execution of staff development initiatives, ensuring alignment with best practices.
5. Identify and address educational trends on a monthly basis, providing relevant training sessions as needed.
6. Maintain and distribute monthly calendars for staff development programs, including training agendas and vendor coordination for certification purposes.
7. Ensure compliance with all required training documentation, maintaining accurate records in accordance with regulatory standards.
8. Integrate the organization's mission into all educational activities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
9. Participate in the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QA/PI) initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Education is preferred.
