About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Clean Earth. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of our plant equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on conveyors, HVAC, roofing, and other related equipment to ensure efficient operation and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Diagnostic Assessments: Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, and schedule and perform repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform tasks for the upkeep of buildings and grounds, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance of pumps and motors, and utilize carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills for minor repairs.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain preventative maintenance procedures, document completed work orders, and perform other assignments to ensure a safe, clean, healthy, and efficient facility.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a maintenance-related field, with a strong background in electrical, carpentry, and plumbing.
  • Certifications: Certification or license in boiler, welding, or electrical field (must be willing to obtain the boiler license at company expense); OSHA training and hazardous materials handling experience a plus.
