Job Description

**Database Systems Architect**

Omni Inclusive is seeking a highly skilled Database Systems Architect to join our team. As a key member of our database administration team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our relational databases to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement database architectures to support business growth and scalability
  • Develop and maintain database performance tuning strategies to optimize query performance and reduce latency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database solutions meet business requirements
  • Develop and maintain database security and access control policies to ensure data integrity and confidentiality
  • Perform database backups and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field or an equivalent combination of education or experience
  • 9+ years of experience in information technology, with at least 5 years of experience as a relational database administrator
  • Advanced knowledge of networking concepts, object-oriented technology, data warehousing, and relational database engines
  • Advanced experience working with Oracle DB 12C and/or 19C
  • Experience working with RMAN, OEM, and RAC
  • Advanced proficiency in analytical, project planning, negotiating, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and oral)
  • SQL database knowledge will be an added advantage

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field
