Position Available: Emergency Veterinary AssistantKey Responsibilities:
- Assist in assessing incoming patients and prioritize based on evaluations
- Work collaboratively with the patient care team on treatment strategies and client communication
- Educate clients on home care guidelines and medication administration
- Support veterinarians with patient evaluations, treatments, and procedures
- Provide nursing care for patients in the hospital
- Monitor anesthesia and sedation processes
- Conduct laboratory tests on-site
- Previous veterinary experience is essential
- Competence in drug calculations
