We are seeking a highly qualified Librarian to join our adjunct faculty team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students in a dynamic and diverse learning environment.
Responsibilities:- Teach library-related courses and provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.
- Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter areas and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse student populations.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to students, faculty, and staff.
- Master's degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a regionally accredited institution.
- California Community College Librarian Credential (valid for life) or the equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to teach a variety of library-related courses and adapt to changing curriculum and instructional needs.
