We are currently in search of a meticulous and knowledgeable Senior Corporate Tax Accountant to enhance our finance team. This role entails the preparation of federal and state corporate tax returns, alongside account reconciliations and responses to state tax inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of corporate taxation, exceptional analytical capabilities, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation and review of federal and corporate income tax returns, including both single and consolidated filings.
- Preparation and review of state corporate income tax extensions and returns, encompassing single and combined filings.
- Calculation and preparation of state apportionment workpapers.
- Review and calculation of state quarterly estimated tax payments.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate multistate tax return preparation.
- Experience with Corptax for corporate tax return preparation is preferred.
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, meet deadlines accurately, and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience.
