Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Precision Agriculture Specialist to join our Country Operations division. This role involves providing training on Precision Agriculture and offering guidance to farmers and producers regarding their Precision Ag initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with CHS sales teams, applicators, and management to identify customer needs and effectively manage the Precision Ag program.
2. Engage with farmers and producers to promote the program, documenting their priorities, challenges, and expectations.
3. Integrate traditional management techniques with precision farming tools, such as site-specific mapping, to develop tailored strategies that enhance crop production and maximize economic returns.
4. Utilize GPS technology to pinpoint specific field locations and coordinate soil sampling, employing GIS to create detailed field maps based on GPS data.
5. Monitor soil properties, crop stress, and growth conditions using data sensors to provide real-time insights for operational adjustments.
6. Organize and analyze data through spreadsheets and databases to deliver accurate information to farmers and producers.
7. Make informed recommendations based on comprehensive data analysis, covering crop characteristics, soil properties, weather forecasts, and market trends.
8. Coordinate sales strategies, including advertising campaigns and grower meetings, to promote the program effectively.
9. Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies to provide informed recommendations to growers.
10. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Knowledge of Agricultural Production and Operations

Preferred Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficient in decision-making through data analysis
- Capability to interpret and convey information effectively
- Ability to monitor and assess environmental data to identify issues
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.

Compensation and Benefits
